Sculpture
The sculpture area at UTSA is housed in two light industrial steel buildings adjacent to the ceramics studio. The disciplines share a fenced area of about one acre, so there is ample space for working outside as well as in. The foundry is across the courtyard with facilities for casting, welding, and fabricating with most kinds of metal. Students are given the opportunity and challenged to work with numerous materials, techniques and ideas.
